1 c. (7.625 oz bottle) white glue
food colors?or egg dye
1 c. liquid starch
Plastic container with lid
Mix the glue and food color of choice in plastic container. Add starch a little at a time, stirring constantly. Keep stirring until mixture looks rubbery like putty. Knead 5 to 10 minutes to achieve good consistency. Add more starch if it is too runny. Store in an airtight container.

Tip:
- If you have extra liquid after kneading, pour it off and lightly blot putty with paper towel.
- Wear latex gloves to prevent stained hands.
- Liquid starch can be bough in arts & crafts stores and some grocery stores.
