I realize this tidbit is a couple of days late and I apoligize for that. My week has completely got away from me. Anyway, helpful tidbit…how to boil the perfect egg. Sounds easy and maybe some of you have this down while others might be like me and struggle with this. I’ve always had a hard time getting my boiled eggs just right. Sometimes they would be overdone and like a rubber ball or too soft with a little runny yolk. If I got the egg perfect it was just luck. After years and years, I’ve got it. This has worked for me with 1 egg all the way up to a dozen.
1. Put desired number of eggs in pan.
2. Put a splash of apple cider vinegar in the pan.
3. Fill the pan with water covering the eggs.
4. Bring the water with the eggs in it to a boil.
5. Once boiling, cover the pan and turn off the burner.
6. Leave the pan on the burner covered and undisturbed for 12 minutes.
7. Drain water and run cold water over eggs until the eggs can be touched.
Now they are ready to be peeled and you’ve got yourself the perfect hard boiled egg.

Not necessarily frugal, but Eggland's Best now makes prepackaged hard boiled eggs. The ultimate in indulgence, but when an egg salad sandwich urge hits, sometimes 20 minutes is too long to wait.

I'm so printing this out though. I NEVER get these things right. Thanks!!!

This is awesome! I will have to give this a try. I am horrible with boiling eggs and have had to throw out multiple batches of boiled eggs before. Thank you so much for sharing!
